Day 325 of 365: Sheri
Last night, there were some major thunder storms in my area. We didn’t lose power but we lost all Verizon services- so no TV and no internet. It turns out that this was not related to the weather- but something that only affected MY house. The service guy is coming to check it out on Thursday evening but, until then, we are off the grid. There are two problems:
- Parenting without Disney Jr. is no joke.
- Working from home is not an option.
So today, I’ve been living the nomad life. I started the day by HORRIFYING the poor teenager working the Dunkin’ Donuts drive-thru. I forgot the caps to my pump bottles and so, I was fumbling for a cup holder to put my iced coffee in. This is what my car looked like:
It did not occur to me that this would be a strange thing for the Dunkin’ gal to see. But it was. Don’t worry, I tipped her. Then, I worked for a while from the car dealership (we needed to have our car serviced), before going to my sister’s house. She is a fellow momtrepreneur and has internet! So, we worked together from her kitchen.
And now, it’s time to go back to my house…aka life in 1990. 🙂 Happy Hump Day, All!
